It was discovered that although these men and women were grouped according to gender and physical fitness, both sexes had the same amount of active sweat pores but did not produce the same amount of sweat. Healthy men sweated more than the healthy women while the unfit women sweated less from each gland. It is then concluded by the scientists that through evolution the female body adapted to the changes in the environment as a form of physical survival. During the prehistoric times, men needed to sweat more to survive the heat during hunting, while women took to the shade.
